Although progress has been made in the fight against cancer, there are still disparities in receiving optimal cancer care among specific population groups. Therefore, I am strongly interested in developing the necessary skills to become an independent investigator in disparities in cancer care delivery, health services research, and health economics. My long-term goal is to contribute to developing and implementing evidence-based interventions to reduce disparities in the delivery of high-quality cancer care.
