What are your long-term goals?

My long-term goal is to be an academic tenured professor combining molecular biology and computational methods to improve therapies and patient outcomes in women’s cancers. Additionally, I will continue with my passion to mentor students from underrepresented and low-socioeconomic backgrounds.

Please share information about how the pandemic has impacted your research over the last two years.

I am fortunate that my research has been uninterrupted due to the pandemic, however, issues in the supply chain have prolonged the completion of experiments. More importantly, due to the pandemic, I have less interactions and meaningful scientific discussions with other scientists.
