Loryn Phillips is participating in AACR’s Early-Career Hill Day for a second time. Loryn has a Bachelor of Science in Biology (biotechnology concentration) from the University of New Mexico (UNM). Currently, she is completing a Master of Science in Biology at UNM, working to delineate the role of BRG1-mutation on CDK18 in lung cancer. She will begin her PhD in fall 2021. Loryn is also a research technician at Lovelace Biomedical Research Institute, working on NIH-funded grants and FDA studies. She is a member of AACR and the American Scientific Affiliation, and is president of Christian Women in Science.
