Pancreatic cancer is one of the most difficult malignancies to treat with a dismal survival outcome, especially in African Americans. My goal is to understand the mechanisms of pancreatic cancer development and progression with the aim of finding therapeutic vulnerabilities. I utilize human biospecimen and preclinical mouse models to interrogate the function of genes that may influence tumor development and progression.
