Raquel Santana is a postdoctoral fellow at Georgetown University. She is a world-class researcher in “Epigenetic Inheritance of Breast Cancer Risk.” Her current work addresses an important public health issues by investigating how paternal dietary patterns and exposure to environmental toxicants before conception will impact the risk of breast cancer in the next generation. She aims to contribute translate her findings into clinical practice and engage with government scientists and regulators on environmental and public health policies.
