Abstract 1429. DDT induces intergenerational epigenetic inheritance of cancer predisposition in a mouse model.

What are your long-term goals?

As a senior postdoctoral, my long-term goal is to get a senior scientist position and full-time work in a company. To prepare for this goal, I have been leading, mentoring, and training juniors and seniors for the past two years. I have managed projects for our team, set quotas, and written reports. I have also attended seminars on oncology and drug regulation, and leadership to improve my skills. Given my experimenting, and communication skills, work ethic, and capacity to handle responsibilities, I believe I will be able to attain my goal of successfully heading a managerial position within the next two years.

Please share information about how the pandemic has impacted your research over the last two years.

Over the previous two years, the pandemic has slowed my research. We had to postpone a few research involving laboratory animals due to staff shortages (due to illness and quarantine). Because of the pandemic’s disruption of my routine, I began to feel under pressure to complete my work in an environment over which I had no control. This resulted in a lot of tension and left me emotionally exhausted.
