What are your long-term goals?

I would like to pursue an academic career as an independent researcher.

Please share information about how the pandemic has impacted your research over the last two years.

Most of my PhD studies has been during the pandemic. My classes, lab meetings, science conferences, and any type of academic social gathering has been virtual on Zoom. I think that what the pandemic has impacted my research the most has been interacting and engaging with people, which is difficult to do in virtual meetings.
