My career goal is to establish an extramurally funded research program for the discovery of novel therapies for women cancers. My ongoing research is interdisciplinary and focused on the development of novel drugs that treat chemotherapy-resistant ovarian, endometrial, and breast cancers. My current research interests include developing small molecules targeting novel oncogenes, using CRISPR/Cas9 screens, studying mechanisms of therapy resistance, and developing preclinical models of cancer progression including patient-derived xenografts, explants, and organoids.
