2021 AACR Special Conference on Colorectal Cancer:
Notice of Termination and Rescheduling
The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) has made the difficult decision, after careful consideration and a comprehensive evaluation of currently available information related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, to terminate the In-person AACR Special Conference on Colorectal Cancer, originally scheduled for October 21-24, 2021 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
We recognize that the new data, exchange of information, and opportunities for collaboration offered by this meeting are highly valued by the colorectal cancer research community; therefore, we are working to reschedule a short virtual meeting around the original dates this October and have begun planning for a traditional, multi-day, in-person Special Conference for October of 2022.
Information on the 2021 virtual meeting and the 2022 Special Conference will be sent by email once those details are available. If you have a room reservation at the Minneapolis Hilton, please cancel your reservation as soon as possible by contacting the hotel at (612) 376-1000. Many airlines have adjusted their rebooking and cancellation policies in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Please contact your airline or booking agent directly to cancel your travel arrangements to Minneapolis.
The AACR deeply appreciates your patience and understanding during this unfortunate situation. Please look for emails in the coming weeks about our colorectal cancer programs, and for any questions please contact us at [email protected]
Thank you for your continued dedication to the AACR and to its mission.
