Sarcomas are a rare but complex group of malignant tumor types that affect 1% of the adult population but are more prevalent among children, representing about 15% of pediatric cancers. This AACR Virtual Special Conference on Sarcomas will explore new biology driving research and treatment of sarcomas and soft tissue tumors. This ‘mini’ conference will cover multi-disciplinary topics that range from basic research in model systems and signaling, to novel immunologic therapies and gene regulation. The conference Cochairs have developed a program featuring the latest research from established young and rising star Sarcoma investigators that will appeal to laboratory scientists as well as clinical oncologists.
