CICR Scholar-in-Training Award
Established in 2019 to be awarded in 2020, and generously funded by WuXi App Tec and Sygnature Discovery, the CICR Award for Scholarly Excellence in chemistry in cancer research is awarded each year to three early-career scientists whose abstract accepted for presentation at the AACR Annual Meeting has been highly rated by the Program Committee. The purpose of the award is to highlight the work being done by talented early-career scientists and to promote the importance of the field to others who may be considering a career in the important discipline of cancer chemistry. Awardees are recognized at the CICR Town Meeting, and automatically become a CICR Working Group member, if they are not already a member.
To be considered for the CICR Award, associate members should indicate that they wish to be considered for a Scholar-in-Training Award when submitting an abstract in the online abstract submitter. All eligible candidates will automatically be considered.
