Loriana Hernandez-Aldama:

Reclaiming Her Health and Her Family Thanks to Cancer Research

Stunned by her diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and in need of advanced treatment, Loriana got on a plane to Baltimore not knowing if she would ever see her son again. "That was the hardest day of my life," she said, choking up at the memory of saying goodbye to her little boy.

Today, thanks to cancer research, the former TV anchor and health reporter is back with her son and husband and feeling blessed to be living life to its fullest again.
