After a highly successful career as an energy executive, Mike continues to serve as a board member of public and private companies, and not-for profits, striving for excellence by helping management teams realize their potential, by helping organizations align their strategies with public priorities, and through the implementation of strong governance principles.
Mike is a graduate of Clarkson University, where he also served as a trustee, and of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mike is also a past chair of the board of Becker College, where he was awarded an honorary doctorate. Mike currently serves as a Board Member of El Paso Electric Company, where he chairs the People and Remuneration Committee, and of NiSource Inc, where he chairs the Finance Committee. Mike is also Treasurer of the Lake Sunapee Protective Association, the oldest environmental organization in New Hampshire.
