Affiliate Advocate Membership

The American Association for Cancer Research is pleased to invite patient advocates to join the association as Affiliate Advocate members and enjoy the benefits of membership.

By becoming a member you will join more than 58,000 members in 141 countries and territories, who depend on the association’s programs and activities for the exchange of timely scientific information.

Affiliate membership is open to qualified individuals who are patient advocates working to advance cancer research, health professionals working in support of cancer and biomedical research, and educators or other professionals who are interested in and/or make substantial contributions to the cancer field. 

The AACR is offering a discounted annual due of $75 to qualified patient advocates who wish to join the association as Affiliate members.

I used to be an AACR member, but am no longer on the membership rolls. Do I have to submit a new application for membership?

No. If you were an existing member and would like to reinstate your membership, please review the AACR Membership Reinstatement Form.

I want to join AACR but I don’t know any AACR members to nominate my application. What can I do?

Membership is happy to provide a list of members in your area to contact for nominations. Send an email to [email protected].

I submitted a membership application a few days ago. How can I check on the status of my application?
