Alexa Diiorio, has joined the AACR Project GENIE Coordinating Center as Program Manager, bringing over eight years of biotechnology experience and more than four years in project management. Most recently, she led complex single-cell sequencing programs at GENEWIZ (Azenta Life Sciences) and supported genomic drug development at Jounce Therapeutics. Alexa holds a magna cum laude B.S. in Biology from Northeastern University and is currently pursuing her PMP certification while supporting GENIE’s growing research infrastructure. In her free time, she volunteers as an Adoption Coordinator for PAWS New England and serves as a Climate Forward Ambassador for the City of Somerville.
