Alyssa Acebedo, MPH, joined the AACR Project GENIE® Coordinating Center as a project manager in 2022, providing project management to the GENIE Biopharma Collaborative project. She brings with her experience in project management, data management, and data analysis.
Before joining the AACR, Acebedo worked in biomedical research and global health, aiming to advance human health outcomes. Most recently, Acebedo was a scientific project manager at TwinStrand Biosciences, providing project management to teams across the company. Additionally, Acebedo has worked in the global health field, focusing on maternal, child, and neonatal health research.
Acebedo is excited to be a part of the AACR Project GENIE® Coordinating Center and believes Project GENIE® will accelerate cancer research and improve health outcomes for cancer patients.
