I’m passionate about creating treatments for diseases that are as safe and tolerable as possible. Therefore, we first must understand what makes cancer, and its treatment, unsustainable. My research seeks to understand biological hurdles to safe and effective drug delivery and develop novel treatment approaches, like “living” drugs, to overcome these challenges. I envision leading a lab that shifts the focus of cancer treatment from anti-disease to pro-patient, improving both survival and quality of life.
