
Dr. Charnita Zeigler-Johnson is a cancer epidemiologist, Associate Professor of Cancer Prevention and Control and Associate Director of Community Outreach and Engagement at Fox Chase Cancer Center (Philadelphia, PA). Her research focuses on defining cancer risk factors and better understanding cancer disparities in the U.S. and international settings. Currently, she is Principal Investigator of two multi-institutional, mixed-methods studies focused on examining the relationship between neighborhood-level structural racism and prostate cancer outcomes. She is a member of the leadership team for the African-Caribbean Cancer Consortium (AC3) and co-Chair of the Pennsylvania Cancer Coalition.
