What are your long-term career objectives?

“My research focuses on investigating the direct relationships between depleted dNTP pools, impaired DNA replication, and resistance to double-strand break-inducing agents such as ionizing radiation and chemotherapy in hypoxic glioblastomas. This novel insight could be a paradigm for improving cancer therapy response, especially in refractory hypoxic glioblastomas in the future. Integrating my experience both as a clinician and a woman in cancer research, I plan to continue making meaningful contributions to the field using rapidly evolving advances in cancer therapy, ultimately improving outcomes for patients affected by brain cancer.”

Abstract #3267: Understanding the role of dNTP pool on double-strand break and resistance to therapy in quiescent hypoxic glioblastoma.
