What are your long-term career goals?

“My research focuses on understanding community-level determinants of health and clinical outcomes, particularly HPV-related cancers in minoritized communities. My team is currently developing predictive models based on electronic medical record and biological data linked with publicly available geospatial data. We are also looking into the role of inflammation. My long-term career goal is to develop a model that integrates complex relationships between individual clinical, biological, environmental, and system level variables to predict health outcomes and guide clinical protocols for communities of color.”
