What are your long-term career objectives?
“As a first-generation Latina in medicine, I aim to become an oncologist who works with and for patients, improving access to the care they need to lead healthier lives. I want to provide my patients with culturally responsive, holistic, and compassionate care. Long-term, I envision identifying new ways to harness precision medicine to advance cancer therapeutics. I am committed to increasing the diversity in clinical trials to ensure medical interventions are beneficial to more people.”
