What are your long-term career objectives?
“I plan to become a physician-scientist impacting patient care, biomedical research, and social issues affecting minorities in training and health. I will investigate the tumor immune landscape to bring novel therapeutic strategies to patients suffering from cancer. I am particularly interested in deciphering the impact of social injustice on differences in tumor biology and therapeutic efficacy. I am strongly considering a career in complex surgical oncology for its integration of research and clinical surgical care.”
