Jean-Charles Soria, MD, PhD, is a physician-scientist with expertise in drug development and lung cancer. He has over 20 years of academic experience at Gustave Roussy, where he progressed from attending physician to full professor, department chair, and ultimately CEO of the Institution. Since 2017, Dr. Soria has been among the most highly cited researchers according to Clarivate, with over 700 published manuscripts. He has served as a senior vice president in R&D for over six years, initially at AstraZeneca and, for the past 3 years, at Amgen where he oversees oncology development from phase 1 to phase 3, as well as the trans-TA precision medicine and JAPAC group. Dr. Soria has been a member of the AACR since 1998.
