What are your long-term career goals?

“My research goals are to understand the nutrigenomic influence of inflammation in cancer to develop culturally appropriate food and nutritional insecurity prevention measures, interventions, and policy reform. My career objectives include identification of tangible approaches to consider how nutrition status may complement current treatment practices in alleviating inflammation and empowering autonomous patient nutritional decisions in the prevention and treatment of cancer and other chronic disease diagnoses.”

Abstract #2171: Poverty, food insecurity, and nutritional inflammatory mediators of allostatic load.
