What are your long-term career objectives?

“My research goals aim to understand the role of androgen receptor splice variants (AR-Vs) in sustaining AR signaling in resistant prostate cancers by identifying distinct features of AR-Vs to generate novel therapeutic strategies. I’ve seen diseases like cancer, obesity and diabetes disproportionately impact my community, and therefore my ultimate career goal is to deconstruct social and economic barriers hindering patient care for underserved populations by performing innovative research to inspire precision medicine for underrepresented groups.”
