Dr. DuBois is the director of the Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, and the Executive Chair of the Board of the Mark Foundation for Cancer Research. He previously served as chairman and president of the Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University, provost and executive vice president of academic affairs at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and director of the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. Dr. DuBois is a recognized authority in the molecular and genetic basis for colorectal cancer. His recent research has focused on molecules involved in tissue inflammation and epigenetic changes in colorectal cancer progression. Dr. DuBois served as the 2008-2009 president of the AACR, and he was inducted as a Fellow of the AACR Academy in 2013. He served as the President and Chair of the AACR Foundation Board of Trustees from 2014-2022.
