“My research and career goals center on advancing knowledge in the field of biomedical sciences, particularly in areas relevant to minority health disparities. Studying African American breast cancer genetics, I aim to contribute meaningful insights to address health challenges faced by underrepresented communities. As I progress in my career, I aspire to become an independent scientist dedicated to unraveling critical questions surrounding minority-focused health issues, thereby making a lasting impact on public health.”
