2026 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend

Team up with AACR Runners for Research at the 2026 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend to raise awareness and funds for lifesaving cancer research!

The American Association for Cancer Research®(AACR), and its running team, AACR Runners for Research is an Official Charity Partner for the 2026 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend, which takes place November 20-22, 2026.

You can join AACR Runners for Research in this race and support cancer research that saves lives. The AACR has provided more than $551 million in grants since 1993 to fund cutting-edge cancer science in support of its mission to prevent and cure all cancers. Thanks to cancer research supported by people like you, more than 4.5 million cancer deaths have been prevented since 1991.

The marathon is sold out but you can still join the AACR Runners for Research team in either the full or the half marathon by raising funds for lifesaving cancer research!

Race Details

  • Dates: November 20-22, 2026
  • As always, we will stage an AACR Race Day VIP Tent for our supporters; which is heated, has pre- and post-race food and snacks, includes changing pods, and offers private bag check
  • If you have a bib that you acquired on your own through the standard registration process:

  • If you have a bib acquired through AACR:
    • You are required to raise a minimum of $500 (8K) or $750 (Half Marathon, Full Marathon)
