What are your long term goals?
My immediate career goals after completing my PHD are to apply for a clinical lectureship post and complete my medical oncology training here in Manchester. Long term I wish to continue as an academic clinician in field of oncology and ultimately hope to become a clinician scientist.
Please share information about how the pandemic has impacted your research over the last two year.
The main impact of the pandemic on my research has been the increased need for childcare related to lockdowns and isolation periods. It has made planning my laboratory research hard and working from home a challenge. In addition, patient recruitment has been significantly affected. I am lucky to have had very supportive family and supervisors during this time.
