Abstract 8144: EphA2 expression in breast cancer-mediated osteoclast expansion promotes osteolytic bone metastasis.

What are your long-term career objectives?

I am currently interested in understanding the underlying mechanisms of tumor-induced bone disease. My current project investigates how the expression of EphA2 in breast cancer impacts different cell types involved in bone homeostasis. Ultimately, my goal is to obtain a career in industry to help push the field towards personalized medicine. As a current mentor working to increase diversity in science, I aim to develop a program that introduces children in underserved areas to science.
