Dr. Cooley completed pre- and post-doctoral studies at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in psychosocial oncology. She received a K07 Career Development Award from the National Cancer Institute focused on behavioral oncology, was selected as a Mixed Methods Research Scholar funded through the National Office for Behavioral and Social Science Research, and most recently completed the Training in Dissemination and Implementation Research in Cancer Program funded through the National Cancer Institute. She is a nurse scientist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and a scholar-in-residence at the Oncology Nursing Society.
