What are your long-term career objectives?
I aspire to become an independent investigator focused on identifying therapeutic strategies to limit metastasis, the primary cause of cancer related deaths. I hope to make significant scientific contributions that result in improved patient care and survival. I also want to be a role model and a mentor to underrepresented students who aspire to be scientists. I will share my experiences and provide them the necessary training to be successful in their academic research.
