The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) is pleased to release the third AACR Cancer Disparities Progress Report to Congress and the American public, with a Congressional Briefing. This landmark report features the latest research on why disparities in cancer incidence, diagnosis, treatment, and survival exist, and what can be done to address them. Additionally, it underscores tales of survival and highlights the work of policymakers in breaking down these disparities. The report has been developed by preeminent cancer disparities researchers in the country and builds upon the AACR’s longstanding commitment to reducing cancer disparities through research, education, and policy, including our annual conference on the Science of Cancer Health Disparities.
