AACR-Johnson & Johnson Clinical Oncology Research (CORE) Training Fellowship

The AACR Clinical Oncology Research (CORE) Training Fellowship Program is designed to provide an industry-academic clinical practicum with a unique opportunity for academic clinicians to train in drug development. Selected clinical researchers will be provided with real-world experience in clinical development at a Johnson & Johnson facility in the United States.

Biography

Dr. Fujiwara received his medical degree from Keio University School of Medicine in Tokyo, Japan. He completed his internal medicine residency in both Japan and at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Beth Israel). Currently, he is a hematology and medical oncology fellow at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. His research focuses on identifying immunoregulatory factors driving disease progression and discovering biomarkers predictive of cancer immunotherapy response in solid tumors. He aspires to lead early-phase clinical trials and translational research to advance therapeutic strategies in oncology.
