LOS ANGELES – The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) will host the AACR Immuno-Oncology Conference (AACR IO) in Los Angeles from February 18-21, 2026.
This major conference, chaired by Nina Bhardwaj, MD, PhD, FAACR, and Antoni Ribas, MD, PhD, FAACR, will encompass the very best of basic, translational, and clinical research in immunology, inflammation, and immunotherapies for cancer, including vaccines and cellular therapies. The program will cover the full spectrum of the IO field, including late-breaking clinical trials.
The program will also feature keynote lectures from world-renowned immunologists and IO researchers such as Fred Ramsdell, PhD, recipient of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, as well as:
- Elizabeth M. Jaffee, MD, FAACR;
- Philip D. Greenberg, MD, FAACR;
- Rafi Ahmed, PhD, FAACR;
- Dario A. Vignali, PhD;
- Lieping Chen, MD, PhD, FAACR; and
- Alexander Marson, MD, PhD.
This conference will take place as an in-person event and will not be livestreamed for virtual participation. Lecture sessions will be made available for on-demand viewing approximately 7-14 days after the meeting concludes.

Individuals registered as press for AACR IO agree to abide by all embargoes.
Abstracts are embargoed until the AACR publishes the abstract at the time embargoes lift. The abstract release schedule is as follows:
- Regular, clinical trial, and late-breaking abstract titles and authors (no data) – will be published on Wednesday, February 9, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET.
- Regular abstracts will be published as a freely available supplement in the AACR journal Cancer Immunology Research and in the conference app on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 12 p.m. ET.
- Clinical trial and late-breaking abstracts will be publicly available to download through the conference app on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 12 p.m. ET.
