Fine Art Auction Featuring Unique Artist-Designed Bicycles to Support Cancer Research in Advance of Philadelphia Cycling Classic
100% of auction proceeds will benefit the Philadelphia-based American Association for Cancer Research
WHAT
“Cycles of Change” is a unique charitable fine art auction benefiting the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the world’s first and largest cancer research organization. Freeman’s will host the auction in coordination with and in advance of the Philadelphia Cycling Classic.
Bringing together the worlds of contemporary art, cycling, and philanthropy, the auction will feature two one-of-a-kind artist-designed elite bicycles created by internationally recognized artists Odili Donald Odita (David Kordansky Gallery) and Charles Hascoët (Perrotin Gallery). The bicycles are provided by Cannondale and Parlee Composites. Other partners in this collaborative effort include ArtMatic, The Fine Art Group, Race Street Partners, Joan Shepp, and 74th Arts.
All proceeds from the auction will be donated to AACR in support of its mission to prevent and cure cancer. Headquartered in Philadelphia, AACR is the official charity partner of the Philadelphia Cycling Classic Charity Ride for AACR.
Images of the bicycles and more information about the artists and the event are available on Freeman’s website.
