AACR to Host Training Run Ahead of Philadelphia Marathon Weekend on November 10

Journalists are invited to meet and interview runners before the training run begins

WHAT

As athletes across the region prepare for Philadelphia Marathon Weekend, the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), a charity partner of the race, is inviting the media to join the AACR Runners for Research team on their next training run on Tuesday, November 10.

WHO

The AACR Runners for Research team is a diverse group of cancer survivors, advocates, researchers, and those wishing to honor or memorialize a loved one who race to raise money for lifesaving cancer research. Team members range from novice runners to seasoned athletes, each with a personal connection to the disease and a shared commitment to advancing cancer research.
