Media Registration Open for the 2021 AACR-NCI-EORTC Virtual International Conference on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics
PHILADELPHIA – The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the National Cancer Institute (NCI), and the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) will host the annual International Conference on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics virtually from October 7-10, 2021.
This meeting attracts academics, scientists, pharmaceutical industry representatives, and other stakeholders from across the globe to discuss innovations in drug development, target selection, the impact of new discoveries in cellular and molecular biology, and early clinical trials.
This year, the meeting will focus on topics such as novel clinical trial designs, clinical utility and applications of new computational technologies, drugging difficult targets, synthetic lethality, new drugs and treatments, and more. View the preliminary meeting program.
Samuel Janes, MBBS, PhD, University College London, and Nobel laureate Jennifer A. Doudna, PhD, FAACR, University of California, Berkeley, will deliver keynote addresses on Thursday, October 7 at 11:35 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. ET, respectively.
Reporters must register for access to abstracts, posters, meeting sessions, and embargoed press materials. In lieu of a press conference, embargoed press releases highlighting newsworthy studies to be presented at the meeting will be distributed to registered reporters in advance.
To register as press, journalists must provide official press credentials such as a business card, editorial roster or masthead, international press card, or letter of assignment. Alternatively, journalists may provide proof of membership in the Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ). Journalists seeking complimentary registration may also be asked to provide recent bylined health/medical/science coverage or further information about their plans for covering the meeting. Please review the complete registration requirements and policies.
