This AACR Special Conference on Metabolism and Cancer will cover various aspects of cancer metabolism biology, such as immunometabolism, redox metabolism, epigenetics, development, and the influence of metabolism on metastasis and progression, as well as the novel therapeutic strategies that capitalize on recent advances in our understanding of metabolic and growth control pathways. Interest in cancer metabolism is keen due to new technology and discoveries of new metabolic pathways and our deeper mechanistic understanding of the interconnected signaling cascades involved. These molecular insights now offer the possibility of developing novel anticancer treatments targeting tumor dependence on altered metabolic pathways. Please join us for a meeting that will focus on the basic biology as well as the development of targeted therapeutics that capitalize on our understanding of key intervention points in these metabolic and growth control pathways.
