Advances in Breast Cancer Research

Notice of Termination and Rescheduling

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) has made the difficult decision, after careful consideration and a comprehensive evaluation of currently available information related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, to terminate the AACR Special Conference on Advances in Breast Cancer Research originally scheduled for October 9-12, 2020, in San Diego, California. A rescheduled meeting is being planned.

We recognize that the new data, exchange of information, and opportunities for collaboration offered by this meeting are highly valued by the breast cancer research community; therefore, we are working to reschedule the conference as soon as possible.

Information on the rescheduled meeting will be sent by email once it becomes available. If you have a room reservation at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, your cancellation will be accepted at no charge up to 72 hours in advance of your scheduled check-in date; please contact the hotel at (619) 564-3333 to cancel your reservation as soon as possible. Many airlines have adjusted their rebooking and cancellation policies in response to the COVID-19 crisis.  Please contact your airline or booking agent directly to cancel your travel arrangements to San Diego.

The AACR deeply appreciates your patience and understanding during this unfortunate situation.  If you have any questions, please email [email protected].

Our heartfelt sympathies go out to everyone who has been impacted by this global health crisis.  Thank you for your dedication to the AACR and to its mission.
