AACR Member Exclusive Benefit

Early Access to Annual Meeting Housing Reservations Tuesday, September 21, 2021 (opens at 9:00 a.m. U.S. ET) through Monday, September 27, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. (U.S. ET)

As a member-exclusive benefit, AACR members in good standing (dues paid through December 31, 2021, or membership eligibility recertified for nondues paying members) are eligible to take advantage of this opportunity to reserve hotel accommodations, beginning September 21, 2021, for the AACR Annual Meeting 2022 before reservations open to all attendees. Members may log on to myAACR to check dues status and make a payment using the secure AACR site.

Hotel Reservations

One hotel reservation is allowed per member effective September 21, 2021. Additional rooms may be reserved, as necessary, beginning September 28, 2021. Housing reservations open to the general public on September 28, 2021.  

Members will need to provide the following information in order to secure a reservation:

  • AACR member ID number
  • Last name (as it appears in the AACR Membership records)
  • A credit card

Members are encouraged to enjoy one-week early access to housing reservations before reservations are made available to all attendees. How many rooms can I reserve during the early-access housing reservation period?
Each AACR member is allowed one hotel reservation during this one week period.  (Members may reserve additional rooms as necessary, beginning Tuesday, September 28, 2021.)

Do my AACR member dues have to be paid to take advantage of this exclusive benefit?
Yes, only AACR members in good standing with dues paid through December 31, 2021 or beyond, or eligibility recertified for non dues paying members, are eligible for this benefit.

AACR members may log on to myAACR to check dues status and make a payment using the secure AACR site. Members may also contact the Membership Department with any questions at [email protected] or (215) 440-9300.

I forgot my username and/or password for myAACR – what can I do?
You may select the Forgot Password link to reset your password or submit a Get AACR IT Help request for assistance.

I’m not yet an AACR member, but I’m interested in joining and would like to take advantage of the early-access housing reservation period?
Nonmembers are encouraged to submit an application for AACR membership without delay.  Every effort will be made by AACR to process applications promptly upon receipt so that interested candidates can enjoy the many benefits of membership including early-access to housing reservations.

How do I apply for AACR Membership?
The best way to become an AACR member is to submit the Membership Application online. You may also download the application and submit with required supporting documents to [email protected].

I was an AACR member before but haven’t paid my dues recently. Can I just reactivate my membership?
If your AACR membership has lapsed, we gladly welcome you back! It’s easy to reinstate your membership by logging on to myAACR or submitting the reinstatement application and the required supporting documents.

My career has advanced and I no longer meet the eligibility requirements for my current membership category. What should I do?
We encourage you to transfer to the appropriate membership category by logging on to myAACR  or submitting the transfer application and the required supporting documents.

How long will it take?
There is a review and approval process so we recommend you submit your applications as soon as possible. We ask that you allow up to 30 days for completion.
