The AACR has recently been notified that some conference registrants are being solicited by an unauthorized company trying to obtain credit card information by phone and email to secure housing accommodations at this conference. All information regarding travel and housing accommodations is available on this webpage. The AACR will not contact you by phone or email requesting credit card information. Accommodations
The conference will be held in the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel is located approximately 17 miles (27 km) away from the Toronto Pearson International Airport. A reduced conference rate of $379.00 CAD for standard rooms per night is available to conference attendees until Monday, August 5, 2024. The hotel will accept reservations at the reduced conference rate on a space-available basis until the cut-off date. Reservations may be made online or by calling 1-888-627-7175 and requesting the rate for AACR 2024 Special Conference: Advances in Pediatric Cancer Research. Reservations made after this date will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the nearest available rate. Applied to the room charge will be a 13% Harmonised Sales Tax (HST) and a 4% Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT). Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of reservation. Cancellations will be accepted at no charge more than 72 hours in advance of arrival. Travel to Toronto, Ontario, Canada
The closest major airport to the conference site is Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), located approximately 45 minutes from the hotel. - Include your: Name (per your travel ID), Date of Birth, Preferred Departure/Arrival Airport, name of the AACR meeting you are booking travel for, Travel Dates, and any Additional Preferences (such as seating, timing, etc.)
- Samantha will research the best flight options and provide several choices that fit your needs
- A one-time minimal transaction fee of $35 will be clearly listed along with flight pricing
- For your security, CT will require a signed credit-card-authorization-form before they can process payment for your flight

Ground Transportation
A variety of ground transportation options is available upon arrival, including taxi service, private car service, Uber, car rentals, and shared shuttles. Taxi service between the Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel is approximately $75 one way, plus gratuity. International Travel
Researchers from more than 50 different countries around the world regularly participate in AACR meetings and conferences. The Association encourages and appreciates the contributions of international researchers at our programs. If you plan to attend this AACR conference, please contact the Canadian Consulate in your country to review the current regulations for travel to Canada. Obtaining the proper documentation may take several weeks or months, depending on your location, so we encourage you to contact the consulate as soon as possible if you are considering attending this conference.
