Join us for AACR Special Conference in Cancer Research: Aneuploidy in Cancer: Mechanisms, Instability, and Therapeutic Opportunities, a cutting-edge conference co-chaired by Samuel Aparicio, Sharon B. Cantor, and Karlene A. Cimprich. This exciting meeting will bring together leading scientists, clinicians, and translational researchers to explore how chromosomal instability and aneuploidy drive cancer development, evolution, immune interactions, and therapeutic resistance.

The program will highlight major advances in the genomic mechanisms of chromosome instability, DNA damage and replication stress responses, and the mutational processes that shape cancer genomes. Sessions will feature emerging discoveries in mitotic DNA repair, ATM-mediated genome protection, APOBEC-driven mutagenesis, and ubiquitin signaling, providing new insights into how cancers adapt and evolve.

Attendees will also explore rapidly advancing areas of research including extrachromosomal DNA (ecDNA), repeat stability, heterochromatin repair, and the complex relationship between genome instability and the immune system. With a strong translational focus, the conference will showcase innovative approaches to diagnostics, biomarker development, and therapies targeting genomically unstable cancers, culminating in a keynote session and panel discussion on advances and challenges in drug development. This is a unique opportunity to engage with experts at the forefront of cancer genomics and help shape the future of precision oncology.
