Media Resources for the AACR Annual Meeting 2024
PRESS AND PIO REGISTRATION
The AACR provides complimentary meeting registration to credentialed journalists and public information officers. Please review the AACR’s media registration requirements and policies before requesting registration. Journalists planning to cover the meeting must register through the AACR public relations team via the form linked below to receive the embargoed press program and other important communications.

Press conferences featuring noteworthy research from the AACR Annual Meeting will be held in Room 26 at the San Diego Convention Center. They are scheduled for the following times:
- Sunday, April 7
11 a.m. PT - Monday, April 8
8:30 a.m. PT - Tuesday, April 9
8:30 a.m. PT
The press conferences will be simultaneously broadcast through Zoom webinar for virtual attendees.
PRESS ROOM
The press room will be located in Room 25BC at the convention center. Hours of operation are as follows:
- Friday, April 5
12-6 p.m. PT - Saturday, April 6-Tuesday, April 9
7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. PT - Wednesday, April 10
7:30 a.m.-12 p.m. PT
Registered media and public information officers can pick up their meeting badges in the press room.
interview rooms and filming
A limited number of private interview rooms are available at the convention center. Journalists are allowed to use a room for up to two hours per day. To reserve space in one of these rooms, please contact Julia DeMalto at [email protected].
Journalists are welcome to film within the immediate vicinity of the press room. Reporters who want to film outside of the press area must first get approval from the AACR public relations team. To submit a request, please contact Kathleen Venango at [email protected].
