The AACR Special Conference on Advances in Radiation Biology Mechanisms: Towards Clinical Adoption will highlight the emerging biological principles that are redefining our understanding of radiation response and expanding the clinical potential of radiotherapy. The program will highlight mechanisms driving radiation sensitivity and resistance, including the influence of the microbiome, tumor metabolism, tumor microenvironment, dose distribution, senescence, immune signaling, and epigenetics. Sessions will also address how multi-omics technologies are uncovering new therapeutic vulnerabilities, informing combination strategies, and enabling more precise and effective radiation treatments.
By bringing together researchers and clinicians across disciplines, this conference will foster discussions on translating advances in radiation biology into innovative approaches for cancer therapy and clinical practice.
