Note Regarding Fraudulent Registration Websites

The AACR is aware that one or more unauthorized companies are using deceptive advertising methods to direct users to fraudulent websites that purport to offer housing and registration for the AACR Annual Meeting 2024. Please note that users can only register to attend the AACR Annual Meeting and confirm a hotel room through this website. Convention Management Resources (CMR) is the official hotel management company and CompuSystems is the official registration provider for the AACR Annual Meeting 2024. Our vendors will not contact you directly. If you receive a call or e-mail from any vendor claiming to be an Annual Meeting housing or registration provider, do not respond or provide them with any personal information. The AACR cannot guarantee your registration or housing reservation if you purchase them using an illegitimate website.

Registration Deadlines

How to Register

The AACR offers three convenient ways to register for the AACR Annual Meeting 2024:

  1. Online. Access to the registration system is available through the myAACR portal. You will need to login into your myAACR account or create an account to register for the meeting. If you do not recall your myAACR password, you can click the “Forgot Password” link to reset it.
  2. Fax. Download and complete the AACR Official Registration Form and fax to 708-344-4444.
  3. Mail. Download and complete the AACR Official Registration Form and mail it to:

Registration Options

Multiple registration options are available for the AACR Annual Meeting 2024. Both in-person and virtual registration packages include access to live sessions, Q&A, networking, CME/MOC credits, and more.

In-Person Meeting Registration

The following items are included with in-person registration:

  1. Admission to all live scientific sessions (admission to the Educational Program sessions on Friday and Saturday, April 5-6, requires the separate purchase of an AACR Educational Program Pass)
  2. Admission to the poster hall and live poster presentations
    [Please Note: All poster presentations at the AACR Annual Meeting will be in person. Posters will not be presented in electronic format.]
  3. Access to the virtual meeting platform and all on-demand sessions through July 10, 2024
    [All sessions held in the Convention Center will be live-streamed to the virtual meeting platform. This includes all scientific sessions; however, access to the Educational Sessions and Methods Workshops on Friday and Saturday, April 5-6, requires the separate purchase of an AACR Educational Program Pass. (Ancillary events like career development sessions, town halls, etc., that are held in the hotels will not be streamed.)]
  4. Admission to all town meetings, NCI/NIH-sponsored sessions, and other live special sessions
  5. Access to AACR Annual Meeting 2024 App and online itinerary planner
  6. Ability to submit questions to session speakers through a mobile application
  7. Admission to the exhibit hall, spotlight theaters, and other exhibitor events
  8. Admission to Satellite Educational Symposia (separate complimentary registration required)
  9. Admission to special sessions at AACR Central and the AACR Publishing Booth
  10. Admission to the Networking Hubs and other live networking sessions
  11. Admission to over 65 Educational Sessions and Methods Workshops (with the separate purchase of an AACR Educational Program: $50 for Members and $95 for Nonmembers) scheduled for Friday and Saturday, April 5 and 6
  12. Access to all recorded Educational Sessions and Methods Workshops through July 10, 2024 (included with each purchase of an AACR Educational Program Pass)
  13. Admission to Professional Advancement Sessions (for eligible participants; separate complimentary registration required)
  14. Opportunity to claim CME/MOC credits
  15. Daily coffee breaks and light refreshments in the Exhibit Hall
  16. AACR Annual Meeting 2024 bag
  17. Certificate of Attendance
  18. Complimentary shuttle service between hotels and convention center

Virtual Meeting Registration

The following items are included with the virtual registration:

  1. Access to live streamed sessions
  2. Access to the virtual meeting platform and all live and on-demand sessions through July 10, 2024

Payments

Registration forms submitted without full payment cannot be processed and will be returned. Government or other purchase orders cannot be accepted. All fees must be paid in U.S. currency drawn on a U.S. bank. Please note that paying the abstract submission fee does not constitute registration for the meeting.

Eligibility for Registration at AACR Member Rates

Individuals who are interested in joining the AACR and registering at the advance registration member rate must submit membership applications no later than February 9, 2024. Only individuals who are listed on the membership rolls as of April 1, 2024, will be accorded the privilege of registering for the AACR Annual Meeting 2024 at the member rates noted on the registration form. In order to receive the AACR member rate, individuals must be current in their dues at the time of registration. If upon review of membership application, a candidate is deemed ineligible for the membership category to which they have applied, then the candidate will need to register in advance at the nonmember rate.

Registration Changes / Meeting Cancellation Policies

Registered participants may change their registration selection between the in-person or virtual meeting or add an Educational Pass to their registration at any time without penalties or change fees. (Registrants who change from virtual to in-person registration are responsible for any differences in registration rates.) Registration changes can be made through the registration dashboard, which can be accessed in two ways:

  • By clicking on the Modify link in the original registration confirmation email;
  • By logging into myAACR, selecting the AACR Annual Meeting 2024 item from the Events I Am Attending tab, and clicking on the Access Registration Details button.

Participants may cancel their registration and receive a refund—less a $125 cancellation fee—as long as the cancellation request is received in writing on or before Friday, March 1, 2024. No refunds will be granted after this date.

If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from attending the AACR Annual Meeting 2024, you may request an exception to this policy. To do so, please email a summary of your situation to [email protected] and include any documentation to support your case (documentation is optional but recommended).

All registration cancellations and refunds will be processed in the same manner as original payment.

Please Note: Cancelling your meeting registration does not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Hotel reservations must be canceled separately.

Credentials

All advance registrants for the in-person registration option will receive an Express Badge Pickup confirmation via email approximately one week prior to the start of the conference. Please bring this notice with you to the Annual Meeting 2024, and you may proceed to the Already Registered counters for fast pickup of your registration credentials. Your badge will provide you with access to the scientific sessions as well as the exhibit floor.

Educational Program Pass

A full slate of more than 65 live Educational Sessions and Methods Workshops will be offered beginning on Friday, April 5 and continuing through Saturday, April 6. A pass granting access to the complete live educational program (and on-demand access through July 10, 2024) is available to in-person meeting registrants for a single flat fee of $50 for AACR members and $95 for nonmembers. Virtual meeting registrants may purchase the Educational Program Pass to view sessions on the Virtual Meeting Platform through July 10, 2024 (view the registration table for tiered rates).

Please note: The Educational Program Pass is only available to Annual Meeting registrants and is not sold separately.

Onsite Registration

Onsite registration will open on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, and will remain open on the following schedule:

  • Friday, April 5: 12-6 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 6: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 7: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Monday, April 8: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 9: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 10: 7 a.m.-12 p.m.
