Unauthorized Housing and Registration Vendors: We have recently been notified that conference registrants are being solicited by unauthorized companies to secure registration and housing accommodations for the AACR Annual Meeting 2019. Convention Management Resources (CMR) is the official hotel management company and CompuSystems is the official registration provider for the AACR Annual Meeting.
No other hotel management company, travel agency, or registration provider is authorized to place hotel reservations or register you for the Annual Meeting on behalf of the AACR. The only way to secure housing and registration for the AACR Annual Meeting 2019 is to use the channels provided on our website, www.aacr.org.

Hotel ReservationsYou may reserve your hotel room in one of the following ways:
Online: General attendee housing is now open. Please note that you must supply a credit card in order to reserve a room online. You will find descriptions, amenity information, and photographs for each AACR official hotel. Additionally, a map showing the location of all hotels and the Georgia World Congress Center is available on the AACR Housing website. Visit the AACR Housing website to get up-to-the minute availability and receive immediate confirmation of your hotel reservation.
Phone: AACR Housing agents will be available to accept reservations as well as provide information on the AACR official hotels Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. U.S. ET. You will be required to supply a credit card if reserving your hotel room by phone. Once your reservation is complete, you will receive immediate confirmation by email. AACR Housing can be reached toll-free in the U.S. and Canada at 888-381-7166 or for international callers at 415-979-2262. When calling AACR Housing be certain to have the following information:
GuaranteeReservations must be guaranteed with either a major credit card (AMEX, Visa, or MasterCard) or a check in the amount of $300 per guestroom and $700 per suite. Make checks payable to Convention Management Resources, Inc.
Changes and CancellationsChanges and cancellations can be made:
Your credit card will be charged one night’s room plus tax or your check deposit will be forfeited if you cancel your reservation less than 72 hours before your confirmed arrival date. If you fail to arrive on the date confirmed by AACR Housing, your credit card will be charged one night’s room plus tax or your check will be forfeited. All subsequent nights of the reservation will be cancelled.
Hospitality SuitesSuites are for sleeping accommodations only and may not be used for meetings or events without prior written permission from AACR. For these types of events, please complete the AACR
Affiliate Group Function Space Request Form and email to
Group ReservationsOrganizations wishing to hold a block of rooms must use the
Group Housing Form. Exhibitors may request rooms in the AACR Room Block and must submit an
Exhibitor Room Block Request Form. Please adhere to all rules and regulations to facilitate processing. Confirmations will be emailed.

Air TransportationThere is one major airport in the Atlanta region: Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (airport code: ATL). This airport offers multiple U.S. and international flights daily. Atlanta is also served by Amtrak.

Assistance for International TravelersAn official letter of invitation is available through the
online registration system. Contact the American Consulate in your country to review the current regulations for travel to the United States. Please begin the visa application process as early as possible. Information is available on the

Taxi ServiceHartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport is located 10 miles from downtown. A set fee of $30 applies between the airport and the central business district with a $2 charge for each additional person.
Public TransportationThe Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) operates Atlanta’s local public transportation system. The Red and Gold Lines travel directly to the Domestic Terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. The airport station is conveniently inside the domestic terminal and in between the North and South baggage claims. The airport MARTA station has a full-service RideStore and trained personnel ready and waiting to help you. Pay for single-trip rides, unlimited day passes, or purchase a reloadable Breeze Card. Complete information on transportation to Atlanta and ground transportation to and from the airport as well as in Atlanta will be included in future Annual Meeting publications and posted on the AACR website. Beginning Friday, March 29, through Wednesday, April 3, shuttle buses will be provided between the Georgia World Congress Center and designated AACR Annual Meeting participating hotels. Shuttle bus schedules will be posted in each hotel, at the Georgia World Congress Center, and at the AACR Information Desks located throughout the Center.
