The AACR has recently been notified that some conference registrants are being solicited by an unauthorized company trying to obtain credit card information by phone and email to secure housing accommodations at this conference. Accommodations
The conference will be held at The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California. The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles is about 18 miles (25 minutes) from Los Angeles International Airport. A reduced conference rate of $249.00 for standard rooms per night is available to conference attendees until 5:00 p.m. PST on August 19, 2024. The hotel will accept reservations at the reduced conference rate on a space-available basis until the cut-off date. Reservations may be made online or by calling +1 888 -627-8520 and refer to AACR Cancer Health Disparities Meeting. Please note, using the direct link is the best way to secure a reservation. Reservations made after this date will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the nearest available rate. Applied to the room charge will be state and local taxes, currently 16.295%. Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of reservation. Cancellations will be accepted at no charge 72 hours in advance of arrival. Travel to Los Angeles, California
The closest major airport to the conference site is Los Angeles International Airport, located approximately 18 miles (25 minutes) from the hotel. - A one-time minimal transaction fee of $35 will be clearly listed along with flight pricing
- For your security, CT will require a signed credit-card-authorization-form before they can process payment for your flight.
Ground Transportation
A variety of ground transportation options are available upon arrival, including taxi service, private car service, Uber, car rentals, and shared shuttles. International Travel
Researchers from more than 50 different countries around the world regularly participate in AACR meetings and conferences. The Association encourages and appreciates the contributions of international researchers at our programs. If you plan to attend this AACR conference, please contact the American Consulate in your country to review the current regulations for travel to the United States. Obtaining the proper documentation may take several weeks or months, depending on your location, so we encourage you to contact the consulate as soon as possible if you are considering attending this conference.
