Accommodations and Travel
The AACR has recently been notified that some symposium registrants are being solicited by an unauthorized company trying to obtain credit card information by phone and email to secure housing accommodations at this symposium. All information regarding travel and housing accommodations is available on this webpage. The AACR will not contact you by phone or email requesting credit card information. The symposium will be held at the Westin Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts. The Westin Copley Place is located approximately 20-25 minutes (5m/8km) from Boston Logan International Airport. A reduced symposium rate of $279 for standard rooms per night is available to symposium attendees until Tuesday, February 6. The hotel will accept reservations at the reduced symposium rate on a space-available basis until the cut-off date. Reservations may be made online or by calling 617-262-9600 and requesting the- AACR Blood Cancer Discovery Symposium 2024. Reservations made after this date will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the nearest available rate. Applied to the room charge will be state and local taxes, currently 14.95%. Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of reservation. Cancellations will be accepted at no charge 72 hours in advance of arrival. Travel to Boston
The closest major airport to the symposium site is Boston Logan International Airport located approximately 20-25 minutes from the hotel. - Samantha will research the best flight options and provide several choices that fit your needs
- A one-time minimal transaction fee of $35 will be clearly listed along with flight pricing
- For your security, CT will require a signed credit-card-authorization-form before they can process payment for your flight

A variety of ground transportation options is available upon arrival, including taxi service, private car service, Uber, car rentals, and shared shuttles. Researchers from more than 50 different countries around the world regularly participate in AACR meetings and conferences. The association encourages and appreciates the contributions of international researchers at our programs. If you plan to attend this AACR symposium, please contact the American Consulate in your country to review the current regulations for travel to the United States. Obtaining the proper documentation may take several weeks or months, depending on your location, so we encourage you to contact the consulate as soon as possible if you are considering attending this symposium.
