I’m interested in AACR membership. How do I join?

You may complete the AACR Membership Application Online or you may download Official AACR Membership Application. Submit it along with the required documents to:

Can I fax my application for membership?

Yes. Please fax applications for membership along with the required documents for your category of membership to AACR office at 267-765-1078.

Can I submit my application via email?

Yes. Please email the membership application to the Membership Department directly at [email protected]. Please be sure to include the required documents.

I want to submit my application and pay my first year’s dues with a credit card. Do you accept credit cards? What type of credit cards do you accept?

Yes, we accept Visa, American Express, and MasterCard. Credit card information is conveniently located on the Application for Membership.

I am currently a member and would like to transfer to active membership; will I be issued another member ID number?

No. Even though your member status will change, your member ID number will remain the same. Please submit the AACR Membership Transfer Form to complete your transfer.

I want to join AACR but I don’t know any AACR members to nominate my application. What can I do?

We will be more than happy to provide a list of members in your area to contact for nominations. Send an email to [email protected] and include your geographical location for best results.

I submitted a membership application a few days ago. How can I check on the status of my application?

Email the Membership Department at [email protected] or call 215-440-9300 to check on the status of your application. Please note that candidates should allow 30 days for review and approval of applications.

How can I find out which category best fits my qualifications?

The AACR has a membership category for everyone. You may view the Categories of Membership pages to review the qualifications of each membership category.

I am an undergraduate student. May I join AACR?

Yes! Student membership is open to high school and undergraduate students who are interested in cancer and related biomedical science.

How do I resign or cancel my membership?

To cancel your AACR membership, you will have to complete the Membership Resignation Request Form and send it via email, fax or mail to the Membership Department. Please allow two weeks for processing the completed form.

I used to be an AACR member but am no longer on the membership rolls. Do I have to submit a new application for membership?

No. If you were an existing member and would like to reinstate your membership please review the AACR Membership Reinstatement Form.
